Marvel vs Capcom 3 · Combo Video · 2013
Every character in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 gets a custom combo treatment in this showcase from residentevilrulz, Ballz, and Güts. Rather than relying on the typical high-damage sequences, these combos operate under strict self-imposed constraints: each uses exactly two assists with no DHC, THC, TAC, X-Factor, or hard tag cancels. The only exception is Nemesis, who breaks format intentionally to differentiate from the creator's dedicated "Ultimate Bioweapon" video. What makes this approach interesting is how it forces creative routing around the game's most explosive mechanics. By removing DHC chains and X-Factor scaling, the video becomes less about raw damage output and more about how efficiently each character can convert meter and positioning into knockdown sequences using assist synergy alone. King appears among the full roster, each character receiving its own distinct combo structure tailored to its strengths. The creators explicitly disclaim these as neither optimal nor tournament-practical—they're original combos designed for a specific ruleset, making the video feel like a laboratory exercise rather than a guide to competitive play. That distinction matters: viewers get to see creative problem-solving rather than tier-list fundamentals.

The combos were done by myself, Ballz, and Güts, who both have YouTube channels of their own. Ballz has some a good bit of UMVC3 videos, though currently he primarily makes King of Fighters Videos. Here's a link to his channel.
