Welcome to ComboVideos.com (“ComboVideos,” “we,” “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, content, and features. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. What ComboVideos is

ComboVideos is an editorial archive and discovery platform for the fighting game community. We index publicly available fighting-game videos from YouTube, organize them by game, character, and matchup, and provide tools to watch, save, share, and discuss them. We also preserve the original 2004–2014 ComboVideos.com archive (“The Vault”) and accept community help repairing broken embeds.

We do not host the underlying video files. All videos are streamed from YouTube via their public embed API, and the original creators retain all rights to their work.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use ComboVideos. If you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide an accurate email address and keep your login secure.
• Take responsibility for activity that happens under your account.
• Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

We use Google OAuth for sign-in. We never see or store your Google password. You can delete your account at any time by emailing combovideos.com@gmail.com and we'll remove your profile, saves, and collections within 30 days.

3. What you can do here

You're welcome to:

• Watch and share videos from the catalog.
• Save videos to your personal queue and organize them into Collections.
• React to specific timestamps on videos with our Moments feature.
• Submit videos for indexing via the Submit form.
• Help repair broken Vault embeds via Help Fix.
• Comment on videos (where enabled) within our community guidelines.

4. What you can't do here

You agree not to:

• Scrape, mirror, or reverse-engineer the site or its data at scale.
• Post or submit content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or designed to deceive.
• Submit videos you don't have the right to share, or impersonate a creator.
• Use the site to harm minors, dox other users, distribute malware, or spread spam.
• Bypass rate limits, security measures, or attempt to access accounts that aren't yours.
• Use ComboVideos's name, logo, or branding without permission.

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban, at our sole discretion.

5. User-generated content

When you post reactions, comments, collection names, descriptions, help-fix suggestions, or any other content (“User Content”):

• You keep all ownership rights to your User Content.
• You grant ComboVideos a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and adapt that User Content on the site and in promotional materials about the site.
• You represent that your User Content doesn't infringe anyone else's rights and follows these Terms.

We may remove User Content that violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law, with or without notice.

6. Third-party video content

Videos on ComboVideos are embedded from YouTube and remain the property of the uploading creators and their respective rights holders. Your use of those videos is also subject to YouTube's Terms of Service and the YouTube API Services Terms of Service.

7. Copyright & takedowns

ComboVideos respects intellectual property rights. If you believe a video, description, image, or other content on the site infringes your copyright, please submit a takedown request via our takedown form or by emailing combovideos.com@gmail.com with:

• A description of the copyrighted work involved.
• The URL(s) of the allegedly infringing content on our site.
• Your contact information.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

We process valid takedowns promptly and may, where appropriate, terminate repeat infringers.

8. AI-generated descriptions

We generate per-video SEO descriptions automatically using large language models, validated against the source video's title and description. We work hard to keep these factual, but they may occasionally contain inaccuracies. If you spot one, please use the report link or contact us at combovideos.com@gmail.com.

9. Service availability & changes

ComboVideos is provided “as is.” We may add, change, or remove features at any time without notice. We may also suspend or discontinue the service entirely, including individual accounts, for any lawful reason. We'll do our best to give notice and to preserve your data when this happens, but we don't guarantee it.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The site, content, and features are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. ComboVideos disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that the content will be accurate or complete.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ComboVideos and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site, even if we've been advised of the possibility.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so they may not fully apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ComboVideos and its operators from any claim arising from your use of the site, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts of New York, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top and, where appropriate, notify registered users by email or by an in-product notice. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the new Terms.
