Doom's hidden missile technique in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 reaches its breaking point in this technical breakdown. By timing launcher inputs precisely—hitting H as Doom's hand returns after folding his arms—players can stack multiple hidden missiles without triggering their immediate release. The video demonstrates how far this exploit can be pushed before the system itself gives up. What makes this glitch particularly devastating is its ability to actually crash the game entirely. Unlike a simple freeze or disconnect, stacking more than 20 launchers before detonation causes the console to completely shut down—no pause menu, no guide button, just a system that can't handle the missile overflow. The clip walks through the execution method step-by-step, showing how accessible this crash sequence really is once you understand the timing window. desk credits wakkatana and glide for the discovery, which emerged shortly after MvC3's launch. While the hidden missile stacking does have some practical fighting applications, the primary draw here is watching the game's engine completely capitulate under the weight of too many simultaneous projectiles. It's a rare look at a fighting game's hard limit—the point where even the developers didn't anticipate players would push their mechanics.
Special thanks to wakkatana + glide. The repeated hidden missile technique was discovered soon after launch. Here I have attempted to take it as far as it can go. Through carefully timing, Doom is able to 'stack' hidden missiles. This does have practical applications but I was mostly interested in this glitch because it allows you to actually crash MvC3. You won't be able to pause+re-start or even hit the guide button. Your console just stresses out and gives up. The easiest way to do this is to hold back and hit H. Then, just as Doom's hand comes back a
