Dragon Ball FighterZ · Combo Video · 2022
Broly pulls off a devastating solo TOD (Time-Over Death) combo in Season 5 without using any sparking resources. Clayton Chapman walks through the evolution of this route—noting that while simpler meter-efficient alternatives exist, this version prioritizes style and visual impact over pure optimization. The description captures the lab work mentality: testing whether specific sequences like the laser-to-headbutt transition yield actual competitive value or work best as situational tools. The clip demonstrates how Dragon Ball FighterZ's combo system rewards both damage output and creative sequencing, even when raw effectiveness might come from a more straightforward approach. For players experimenting with Broly's toolkit, this showcases the ceiling of what's possible when you commit to drilling extended combos and understand the character's meter-to-damage conversion deeply.
Old idea of a combo that now kills.. You can actually do something more simple with less meter, but I thought this looks cooler... Gonna have to fiddle with laser beam to headbutt to see if that actually gives anything optimal, or maybe its just situationally optimal. Will see.
