Mortal Kombat Trilogy · Combo Video · 2009
EWAShock's custom arcade vision for Mortal Kombat Trilogy reimagines what an authentic arcade release might have looked like. Rather than a homebrew or emulation project, this is a carefully crafted animation composite that blends character portraits from the PSX/PC version's Choose Your Destiny Towers mode with a modified arcade select screen layout. The creator spent considerable effort sourcing 1:1 quality portraits and arranging them to fit arcade resolution constraints while following the original character order—notably excluding bosses to maintain the classic arcade feel. The result is a polished fantasy selection screen that avoids the pitfalls of the countless poorly-made fake arcade ports circulating online. The technical precision of fitting smaller portraits into arcade dimensions without resizing or distortion showcases both attention to detail and respect for the source material's visual integrity. For fans curious about what Midway's authentic arcade take on the trilogy might have delivered, this animation serves as a compelling artistic interpretation of that unrealized vision.

This again is simply an animation, this not MUGEN, or a homebrew port of UMK3 or MKT of any kind. I specifically used the uniform 1:1 quality portraits from MKT's Choose Your Destiny Towers and modified the UMK3 selection
