Justin Wong got completely washed at a Japanese Capcom vs SNK 2 tournament, then stuck around to commentate the whole event. The local CVS2 scene is noticeably tighter than what Wong expected — different decision-making patterns, faster blockstring confirms, and a level of spacing discipline that caught him off-guard. Wong also handled commentary duties throughout, giving real-time breakdowns of how the Japan bracket approached team composition and character synergy differently than the US meta.

On my trip to Japan, I joined a Capcom vs SNK 2 tournament... and I gotta say... not only did I get WASHED, but I was able to commentate the entire CVS2 tournament. The Japan CVS2 community is incredibly strong and I loved to see their passion for the game in real time!
