I don't hate Rain. I just really don't like the problems he has. Even ignoring glitches/bugs with blocking after the projectile dash cancel or portal bugs (which I forgot to mention), he feels so tied down by design, both in terms of balance design choices to make him balanced/weak and also in disappointing choices in moveset design. It just feels weird that his projectile is slow, minus on block, with barely any hit advantage. And it feels weird that he is forced to use the same combo constantly, and ALSO why are awesome animations like the Weather God cloud just a lame projectile like surely
