SFV ▰ Xuses Vs ImStillDaDaddy【Close Matches】Street Fighter V / 5

Street Fighter V · Match Video · 2016

Xuses takes on ImStillDaDaddy in a series of close Street Fighter V matches that showcase the Ken vs. Guile matchup from an unconventional angle—through the lens of frustration and adaptation. Rather than a dominant performance, Xuses openly discusses his struggles against one of the world's best Guile players, breaking down how sonic boom zoning disrupts Ken's aggressive, free-flowing gameplan. The matches reveal the mental side of fighting game competition: when a player gets locked into defensive patterns trying to navigate the opponent's pressure, fundamental execution starts to slip. Anti-air timing falters, spacing decisions become reactive instead of proactive, and the natural rhythm of play collapses under matchup stress. What makes this footage valuable is exactly what Xuses identifies—the mistakes are instructive. Ken players watching can recognize the specific problems that arise when facing Guile's zoning tools and see how even experienced competitors struggle with the same problems. ImStillDaDaddy's consistent defense and control demonstrate why he's earned his reputation. The collection of close rounds and near-victories creates tension throughout, making these matches feel earned rather than one-sided.

Let me start off by saying that I had no intention to upload this footage and I only decided to do it because I had so many crazy close matches that I felt like it would be a waste just to delete it. Maybe some of you Ken players can take notes on all the mistakes I made and use it to your own benefit when you face Guile players. Guile is my worst match up. Ken has no way to get around the annoying sonic boom spam and it literally frustrates me to the point where I can't play my natural free flowing play style. I focus so much on trying to get in that I forgot to AA and even mess up the most
