Marth's down air spike is one of the most satisfying finishers in Smash Bros, and this compilation celebrates 20 of the most creative executions ever captured. Rather than standard combos into the spike, these clips emphasize style and ingenuity—players going out of their way to land the finishing blow in unexpected or jaw-dropping ways. The video intentionally excludes more formulaic setups, focusing instead on moments where the Marth player's decision-making and positioning create something memorable. From unexpected angles to reads that turn defensive situations into kills, each clip demonstrates how much personality can fit into a single move. Whether it's a spike into the blast zone or a meteor cancel variation (courtesy of PAL versions), every moment here represents a player choosing the flashy route over the straightforward one. If you're interested in the foundational Marth combo work that leads into down air finishers, the creator has separate videos dedicated to standard and reverse Ken combos. This one's pure style—a celebration of Smash players who treat the spike as an art form.

For this reason I decided to…

For this reason I decided to not feature any of the more "Vanilla" Ken Combos and reverse Ken Combos, but don't worry! I've made videos for both of those combos in the past.
