Goro Daimon's invincible dragonpunch sequences in this King of Fighters clip reveal a crucial execution requirement: the dp+A won't connect without a preceding special or desperation move to set up the hit. AngrySilencer demonstrates how proper sequencing transforms what would otherwise be a whiffed attack into a guaranteed punish, using the startup frames of supers and specials to position the opponent for the follow-up. The combo hinges on understanding Daimon's pressure tools and when his invincible frames activate—knowledge that separates practical offense from failed attempts. Chris finds no escape once the sequence begins, locked into the chain of guaranteed hits. This 2010 capture showcases the technical precision required to weaponize Daimon's most dangerous tool, making it essential viewing for anyone looking to master his frametraps and knockdown conversions.
This combo is quite interesting. You always have to do something before each dragonpunch (in general a special or a desperation move) in order to hit your opponent with the dp+A. Without a special or super the dragonpunch will whiff for sure. As far as I know, Chris cannot escape Daimon's dragonpunches in this combo (they are.... INVINCIBLE!!!)
