They never tell you this in any Tekken game and you pretty much have to learn it from someone else. I haven't seen a video covering the start of the round before so hopefully this helps. There is no buffering round start so be careful hitting buttons. Unless you have a strong read your best bet is probably just moving backward. This one part of a Tekken 7 analysis I did.
