Street Fighter 4 - Ryu & Ken Combo Expo 2

Street Fighter IV · Combo Video · 2009

Blazt The Speakerz and CSVagrant follow up their original Street Fighter IV combo video with a deeper dive into what's possible with Ryu and Ken. Where the first installment covered foundational techniques, this second showcase focuses on advanced sequences built around focus attack dash cancels—a mechanic that defined SF4's combo potential. The creators demonstrate complex routing and flashy extended combos that prioritize technical creativity and entertainment value. What sets this apart from purely stylistic displays is the attention to practical application: the super meter isn't set to infinite, meaning every combo respects the actual resource management you'd face in a real match. This deliberate choice grounds the showcase in fighting game reality rather than fantasy execution. For players looking to expand their Ryu and Ken arsenal or simply understand how deep SF4's combo system goes, this video bridges the gap between what's theoretically possible in training mode and what carries over to actual gameplay.

In the previous video that they made in just 6 hours on the day the game came out, they displayed basic to intermediate combos. This second video displays advanced combos, mostly featuring the focus attack dash cancel. These combos are not practical and are for entertainment purposes only but they can be applied in an actual match as you will notice the super meter bar not regenerating nor set on infinite.
