After each knockdown, he can set up a certain timing after which he can do a strong clap to whiff before the opponent can hit him or a fierce clap to hit the opponent as a meaty. After each knockdown, he can set up a certain timing after which he can do a strong clap to whiff before the opponent can hit him or a fierce clap to hit the opponent as a meaty. This is great against almost everybody by itself since Hugo gets such a strong reward for making opponents whiff reversals or hitting someone with a fierce clap, so both sides of the mixup are dangerous for the opponent. But what's even better is that even the fierce clap is safe against reversals that are technically 6 frames or slower,
