Noctis's gameplan is to control outlying space & whiff punish like Jack/Gigas/Bears but additionally he has the advantage of having an average sized hurtbox and good movement. For optimal combos, I feel it is hard to improvise with Noctis since his most damaging enders like FF+4 and 22~B+2 don't wall carry well + switch sides post combo.
