Was playing some more DOA5 and it occurred to me how much fun I was having--even with my limited knowledge of the game. It was a combination of the stage lighting, impactfulness of the hits/stun mechanics, & good animations of the Virtua Fighter characters that made everything feel very smooth and unique. Iono exactly where I'm going with this--but I do feel that if Sega or Tecmo ever decide to release a sequel to their respective games--this mix of DOA and Virtua Fighter has a lot of promise.
