69-Hit combo! SF6 Juri Combos + Hype!

Street Fighter 6 · Combo Video · 2023

A showcase of intricate Juri combo optimization in Street Fighter 6, where desk pushes the character's damage potential to 69 hits. The video documents the painstaking process of balancing hit count against combo duration—a constraint that forced unconventional routing decisions. With only 12 frames of walking available to maintain connectivity, the combo demands precision timing across multiple sequences. The final stretch nearly depletes Juri's super bar, creating a razor-thin execution window that took the majority of production time to perfect. Rather than simply chaining the highest-damage hits together, the combo prioritizes a specific hit-count target while keeping the closing air sequence intact, meaning certain single-hit normals were chosen over multi-hit alternatives to preserve frame data. This is less about flashy gameplay and more about the technical constraints that govern how fighting game combos actually work at their limits.

The final combo was about 80% of the time it took to make this video. There are approximately 12 frames of walking necessary to make everything connect. It's so complicated that optimizing for hits early messes up the end of the combo because the Lv2 install runs out before the final sequence. So there had to be a balance of 'number of hits' vs 'length of combo'. There's a 1 hit st.LP when a 2 hit st.MK would work but that 1 extra hit lengthens the combo a few too many frames and the air combo at the end no longer works. If you watch the super bar towards the end you can see how close it is t
