X-Men vs Street Fighter · Combo Video · 2020
In X-Men vs Street Fighter, Rogue's signature special move lets her steal one of her opponent's attacks—a mechanic that predates similar abilities in modern fighting games by decades. This video breaks down every move she can pilfer from the cast, demonstrating both the utility and combo potential of each stolen technique. While some steals like Wolverine and Sabretooth's identical move don't unlock particularly flashy combo routes, the footage uses those moments to highlight Rogue's offensive toolkit: tight jump-cancels and air dashes that chain into devastating sequences. The real payoff comes from watching how different stolen moves integrate into her gameplan, turning opponent arsenal into her own advantage. Whether the focus lands on practical combo damage or raw character expression, the video captures what makes Rogue's design stand out in the 1996 classic—a character whose strength comes not just from her own moves, but from adapting to whatever her enemy throws at her.

Here I show off all the moves she can steal and where applicable, the combo functionality of some of these moves. Although Wolverine and Sabretooth's identical stolen move doesn't really have much exciting…
