Overextending in my opinion is different from simply being impatient. It comes from a sense of entitlement. We feel because we learn a lot about frame data and esoteric Tekken mechanics/knowledge we are entitled to get damage in a certain way from our opponent when in fact that is not the case. Sometimes when you make Tekken too complex you'll find yourself losing to opponents that play in a rather off beat way that messes with your mind. The solution is to simplify your game, go back to your fundamentals, and don't overextend. Hopefully some of you guys can understand what I'm talking about.
