As the title states, I'm wondering how you first stumbled on CV? How'd you find out about this site?

A friend he just started talking about combo vids

He told me They had street fighter combos that i had never heard of so i randomly searched and found a pot of gold.

I originally googled "combo videos" and this came up. That was way back when CV had the sort of boxy layout (blue and black if I recall). Been hooked ever since.

I think I read something about here in GCC.com or Video-Opera, can´t remember. But I´m been here since the beginning... the layout was white and made in Flash.

I was searching for combo videos on youtube, and the site name happened to pop up on one of the vids.

Same here. I did a google search for ¨third strike combo videos¨ and this was the first thing that came up. Got to admit it has replemished all my combo needs heh.

I clicked on a link in Video Opera way back when registration wasn't necessary to access most of the videos.
I think I was looking for Meikyousisui 9, which had been out for awhile, but none of the other sites had a working link.

I think my friend pointed out CV or I found a link on SRK forums. I was here when CV was in its last days of flash.

I became obsessed with Third Strike. I wanted to learn how the REAL players play. My friend told me to search for vids online, I told him there was no way they exist. He found some site that just had 15 or 20 videos listed, nothing else. I think there was a video of Yun doing some serious Genei Jining, and all I could think was "Wtf?" This lead me to search for "Street Fighter vids" on yahoo or google, and led me to my new homepage.

Honestly I'm not entirely sure lol.

Mostlikely I was on kaillera playing games with Battousai or something and Combovideos was mentioned. Came and checked it out been here ever since. either that or i was looking around for SFA3 videos and came accross the "Days of A Past present" by the SF team, the first CV I ever downloaded(if you haven't seen it, look it up now!).This site rocks. Being active here is great. CV for life

my brother told me about the page and then i said OMG WTF, All that for free ? and then i started leeching xD well then i said, i have to make a video, and started to Rec some Oldie games.

i've used 4 different email accounts to sign up as a member at SRK and they all got banned for some reason.
i came across this site at the old orochinagi page that had a banner for combovideos.

I guess watermarking videos IS good... I didn't think too many people would type in the url from that. But I guess with such a niche genre like combo/match videos people use whatever they can to sniff out videos.

Glad you guys are enjoying the site, huge thanks definitely goes to the staff those who submit content and donate, and of course everyone else that participates and spreads the word.

Yeah CV is #1 on google for 'combo videos' hehe.

Well I dont exactly remember how I ended up here but I do remember looking for a site to help improve my skills, and sweet destiny lead me to CV...

I don't remember...But I think it is just a random search that guided me here. I have been fond of CV since CV was still sort of the flash thing website. I was kinda amazed when I found CV because there were hella combo videos---so combo videos which I wish to have. All rare videos I have found from CV. And then a couple months later, CV reformed and had maintainance, which now becomes this current CV.

Oh I forgot, the thing was that I could get the vids for free since I didn't have much money and just got a summer job(all this was about prior to the reformation of CV)(the flash micromedia website, not the current CV).

To sum up, I have been with CV for a long time. I could see how it grows.

I was watching a NKI CV and I saw the link so I came..... Its pretty much great from what I see... Wass Good BlazeD, we gotta run some xvsf4p or mvc4p sometime...... I 2nd Dmac's Statement, kaillera is quite sad..... It has bots as admins now.... Nothin' but regulations nowadays, due to dumbasses who try to spam servers and what not... Holla Back

I also searched for Street Fighter match vids and this site came up.

I remember a friend of mine had Kazaa'd Meikyousisui 7. He showed a friend and me the vid. I remember going to the computer labs at college and looking for it. I found GameCombos at the time and watched the Mike Z/ NKI Killer Instinct vids (I believe it was these two). Anyways, I was in love. I'm not good at fighting games but I have a very deep respect for those who have such talent at this type of game. Ever since then, I've been going to GC...then I remember one day it said that it wasn't there anymore! I was like "Oh crap!". Next thing I know, here we are at combovideos! Thanks alot guys for the great site (and for getting me back into fighting games *KoF :D :D :D*)

Shit, haha i dont even remember, but here's a guess. I think i was just searching for like pros playing games in general. I think i came across some other VG forums (non specific genre) and i came across this site. Just a guess haha
