Actually, the command is: (charge) down/back, down/forward, down/back, up/forward.

I have the same problem with guile and with blanka actually. I can play with any charge character just fine but when it comes to Guile's super flash kick or Blanka's Shocker, I find it difficult to perform. Do you have any tip on how to do the (charge) down/back, down/forward, down/back, up/forward easier or smoother or do we just practice until our thumbs drop?

Ok, try this: charge down/back then quickly(!!!) input a 360 motion starting with forward or down/forward going counterclockwise and ending somewhere around up or up/forward. This should do the trick and besides: if you can input this that way you have no probs doing Zangiefs Piledriver while standing.
It may sound a little confusing at first but once you get the timing down you will be able to pull it off everytime. Hope that helps:D

Great advice.... I was thinking about something around those lines, but i'm so used to following the dpad directions almost exactly. However, I'll try this and yes I have no problems doing Zangief's Piledriver while standing.

I do somewhat like Senix

I charge down/back then roll 90 degrees to down/forward, roll back again 90 degrees, then do a straight shot across te d-pad to up/forward.

I'll jump on this "charge guy" band wagon.
I've played 3rd strike for a LONG time now but never really got into the charge characters. Recently tryed out Q and really liked how he played but I have a damn hard time charging multi dashes (i.e. jab dash -> jab dash). Is there a spacific way to buffer a dash while dashing? any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I dont play Q but I think its like with all other charge chars. After you input the first charge command hold back again as fast as possible. So while Q is dashing you´re already charging the next dash. Its just a matter of getting used to.

Basically what Senix said, cept when u charge back and then forward dont hit the button with forward go back to back then hit the button. so for Q's dash punch it would go : charge b, f, b+P

Aka charge partitioning.

That's how people get the multi tackle combos with Urien and such

As for the supers, it's real easy to do. Just think of it as this. Charge down back and then do a backwards spinning piledriver and at the last second when the joystick is at the top press the button for the flash kick super. It took me some practice cus it was akward but once u get it, it makes Charlie, Blanka and Vega a lot more effective to play with. In the arcades I play in, if u pick Blanka, mastering that motion is a necessity. Try practicing with Zangief to get the 360 right and the flash kick super will follow very easily.

Now only if I could learn Geese's rising storm....

geese raising storm shortcuts:

hcb X2, df + punch (doesn't seem like a shortcut but i hear it's easier)

qcb x2, df + punch (only in SvC and Kof games)

Got Street Fighter Collection today and I've been practicing with Dee Jay for a bit. I can link his normal charges regularly but I've never been able to link into his Super combo once.

Here's what I'm trying to do:

Crossover J. MK > C. LP x2 > MP > Super

Can someone help me out with some timing hints?

Try the crossover that you do leaving out the MP practicing it a few times then connect it with the super,
works for me or another connect the 2nd LP with his machine gun uppercut. Nearly give out the same amount of damage.

Didn't know there was an easier version
been doing the standard which is always a pain in the ass:

charge db, hcb, df + punch

You don't have to charge db for his super.

It's a hard one to learn but it's useful. In CVS2 2 his Deadly Rave is better but not always available.
