looks like cable got a few hits of his first hyper viper before getting reset by the drones and then he just combo into the second hyper viper.

Yea but I never seen anybody do that before.

good matchs looks like he cant block mag when justin trijumps all over the place.

All i have to say is.. Mitsu > J.Wong In the Entertaining factor. Mitsu Did some amazing shit. If Wong Didnt get rid of IM some of the matches Mitsu would have had alot of the matches.

i have to disagree. All mitsu really did that was entertaining was use DHC's way more than Justin. But other than that he just relied on iron man's infinite which is boring after the second time. I mean Justin is an amazing player because he has stood as the worlds greatest MvC2 player for years now and he doesn't rely on infinites. His combos disorient the opponent and do massive damage quickly. That stupid iron man infinite takes forever to kill someone it's just plain dull to watch. My vote goes Justin > Mitsu in both skill and entertaining.

i agree with ya r0bby. All Mitsu was that infinite combo, but i'll have to admit it is entertaining. Justin Wong may need to learn how to block more before he becomes the world's best player.

I say Mitsu > Justin (Entertaining Factor). I mean Justin used 3 gods most of the time and rushed down which a lot of people do. I know all Mitsu did was the infinite which he could go into a reset a lot of the time but he is facing Justin Wong and he is very good at blocking resets I hear. So if he(Mitsu) would of done more resets he would of gotten better props from me but its like Justin did do the same combo every couple of rounds too. Think about it.

You dont see very many IM matches lately, So its nice to see something new, And its isnt the usall "Top tier teams"
Thats why it was more enjoyable watch, Wong seems to do the same stuff hes being doing for years. So its Kind of getting old.

IM isn't anything new. he's old. you're happy about seeing something old. and as far as justin doing the samething he's done for years i don't really agree. i mean he's won for years but his team has changed as much as anyone elses really has. i mean aside from truely original teams like Team-Z everyone uses more of less the same characters. come on look at Mitsu amazingly "new" team: Iron Man (only for the infinite), Storm (to handle sent and wiff assists during IM infinite), and Cable cause cables a god. Doesn't really make sense to ding Wong for using his team when mitsu wasn't paving any new ground here. For me i'd rather watch justin do the same rush down consisting of several combos and resets each round than watch mitsu do literally one infinite the entire round. I mean if mitsu wasn't doing the infinite he was losing pretty badly so i don't blame him for using it but to come on here and praise him as the better showman is kinda off.

Umm, If i enjoyed watching old stuff, I would have Enjoyed Watching J.Wong... Sooooo Ummm, Yea I think im sticking with my point.

uh mitsu isnt on justin level sorry to say all mitsu did was inf if u see how justin was getting in his ass with mag and mitsu looked lost and team jap isnt really new but mitsu isnt bad

Seems to me that Justin changes his team each year. To say he's doing the same thing he's done for years is just not true. he has become faster and stronger as a player over the years. granted one of the teams he used in this video is the same as his evo2k3 performance but it's still way more impressive than the same old IM infinite that i've seen from as far back as i've paid attention to this game. I hate to be a dick but Dmac i'd say your "point" doesn't have much of a leg to stand on. I think what you enjoy seeing is J. Wong take it on the chin for a few rounds and i can see why but i wouldn't call it Mitsu being such an entertainer.

Hehe. I'm so far from a Justin fanboy. I'm a 3s player and I hate how he can do so well with lame ass chun li. i'm just a lame infinite whore hater that's all. :)

nice, wouldn't expect anything less out of either, but honestly, i dunno why i'm still downloading mvc2 matches...habit i guess. just more of the same imo. mitsu's IM isn't any different from a few years ago and justin plays the big 4 like any other good big 4 player would. the only thing that kept me watching was to see the average consistency of each...and even with that i stumbled upon nothing new. its reached the point where summoning the focus and technique necessary to be consistent takes about the necessary focus and technique required for taking a piss.

constant progress made marvel interesting, but its reached its limit. low tier, high level play matches would be nice, but it wouldn't last with players or spectators. the top tiers are top tiers because of their previously speculated potential. and marvel players like justin and mitsu have made possible the achievement of the full potential of top tier characters for the gaming community. chess gets boring to players because the players reach their full potential, not the game; marvel is the opposite in that there is a set value to what you can do in the game, even with strategies and counter-strategies. that's not to say that those who are new and willing to learn should abandon marvel cuz some guy said so. for most of us, however, it's difficult to enjoy reruns when you've been watching the same 3 or 4 for the past couple of years. in short, marvel is a zombie: deceased but animated.

I've not seen a lot of mvc2 matches lately, so it's a very jaw-dropping video to me. Of course, IM infinites does get old after the 3rd or 4th time...

Video was sick. Both of them are great.

Very tight matches. Though that IM inf started to piss me off, seeing how Justin can win without using them and deals monsterous damage in short time. His opponent fought 100% for victory, which is a good thing... but abusing infs ain't really professional IMO.

What IS professional ... You act like Justin won't run for $1000 and he does. Heck I would run if money is on the line.. Most Japanese players play for the win. Mitsu had to play to win, hes playing JW. He gotta flex some of that jp mvc2 muscle.

Always nice to see Japan playing MvC2 and also nice to see and IM every now and then. That double AHVB on 21:26 was sick though cause it looked to me like it was intentional. Hope mitsu goes to evo and does well. You still have to give credit to mitsu even though he does depend on IM's infinite but in an IM vs. Mag (especially JWongs) fight, the Mag should win most of the time and mitsu held his own. Although NKI did say that Wong won most of the matches anyways including those that weren't recorded so it's about right..

It was kinda funny how you could tell who was going to win in the first 30 seconds.. Go Iron Man! :)

Can anyone tell me why Mitsu didn't DHC out of Storm's Electric super more often? To save meter? I don't play MvC2..

Great matches, thanks NKI and Blazed. You people whining about infinites need to learn the FG mantra "If it's in the game, it's in the game." I can understand that you might find it boring, but saying mitsu is "unprofessional" for using infs is scrub talk. They were playing to win, not to entertain you guys.
