Ok. I was thinking about all the websites that have been spouting up

lately, and I was thinking, what's a good way to organize these websites in one place? Then the idea struck me, that I could create a

topsites (preferably fighting game related only) where webmasters could add their websites to it. This would serve both as a directory

as well as resource to find out about the new fighting sites that emerge, and you'd be able to rate them as well as sort them by

traffic by just going to one place.
So, what do you guys think of this idea? After this month is over, I'll make a poll about it,

and probably an announcement about it on the front page within the next few days.

To WEBMASTERS: INSTRUCTIONS ON JOINING THE TOPSITES

1.To

join the topsites, simply go to here and fill out the information. You

do not need to have a banner to join, but it is recommended as it is how people will recognize/remember your site.

2.Once you

fill out the information and submit it - you will receive a unique code in which you will need to add to the html of your site - up to

you where. This code simply monitors the traffic your site receives and will thus determing your rank/position on the topsite

directory.

I love the idea. Your are right there are alot of sites coming up lately.

I'll just list some here. www.newchallenger.com www.mvc2.cjb.net and I think this other one but I just cant remember it.

Good idea . Now that I know what all these nah-root-toe sites are doing on

the bottom of the site.

CV's topsite will fighting game related only. Anyone who owns a fighting

game related website can submit it to the topsite.

The banners at the bottom are a temporary thing, I'm testing some stuff out

- although there's no harm in exposing what we're all about to other niches. =]

(100GB per month) is not enought

We have a small and friendly community and users downloading combo vids from our site every day

(while we have bandwith)

Thanks for the links, but I'm not sure if you guys understand how this

works. It's not for me to add it. It's for the webmasters to add it. Once the webmaster joins the topsites, he/she will

receive a code which they will need to add to their site, preferably the page(s) which they have the most traffic - this is how they

will be ranked and thus have a better spot on the list.

So if the code isn't added, in time your site will just be at the bottom

of the list and will not reflect how active it really is.

Thanks for the sites Atb_555!!!!

There are about 16 members and counting. I know one webmaster was telling me

he already noticed a nice increase in traffic to his site, heh. This is a great program - all webmasters should participate.

Nice, and it appears to be doing quite well. Let me know when

you're comfortable with it - I'll announce it on the front page of CV. You should also make some links in various other popular

forums announcing it like video-opera, gamecombos.com, and srk (and of course CV).

I think you are right.., I added the code into my main web page but I think it´s not working,

I tought all I had to do was copy the code and past in some place in the main page, it´s not just that, right? I know I´m missing some

small detail just like some other web masters that got their page in this list but they are not counting the hits because the code thing

is not inserted like should be.

Once I have the code in my e-mail and if I just copy it and past it in some place of the main

page: it will work? Maybe I have something wrong in my setup or I´m missing some easy/stupid detail.

But that´s exactly what I did before I posted here, I added that same code (with the ID 32) just

like I got it in my e-mail and I pasted it in my main page: www.akumacombos.com

and my question is: that code should be hidden,

right? I checked the other pages that are on this project and they don´t show the code (if you push down in my main web page you will

see that the code is showing up and that code shoudln´t be showing up, right?)

Do you understand what I´m trying to say? I guess

there´s more people with this same problem because their site are not counting the hits.

There´s anything that I need to do

No clue why it's not working. Just remove the code for now - and I'll look

into what's wrong when I get more time.

The people who have 0 hits is because they haven't included the code or the banner on

their website - therefore their traffic isn't reported back to CV Topsites.

Alright, I hope you can have a way to fix this (if possible) all I need to do is paste the code somewere

on the web page, right?
