I just found out the Japanese version of Street Fighter Anniversary

Collection for Xbox doesn't have a regional lockout! That means play SFIII 3rd Strike online without waiting for the April 05 release.

Now I gotta scrape some $$$ together and buy it.

I think that if capcom fixes the Black screen of disconnect (BSOD)

problem in the usa version in feb I may have to pick that up as well...
Capcom gets so much of my money...

much greater quality than the ps2 version.

I've never used x-box live unfortunatly. What exactly is the "black screen of

disconnect" and often does it occur?

Are you playing with any folks in Japan? What's parrying like online?

It's what happens almost every time that, after a match, you choose

rematch. The screen will turn black and then you'll have to log back in to play again. The easiest solution to this is to choose quit

after each match and just rejoin.
As for the lag, for the most part it's non existant. I can parry and everything just like an off

line match. It's great. I haven't played anyone in japan but I have played people in the uk with no lag at all. Directly connecting to

your xbox from your modem helps a lot too.

yes it does help a lot if u do it like that. just connect ur cable

direct to ur xbox its better that way. believe me am using this shitty connection from my school and it still works better, and it works

even better when i am at home so u shouldnt have any problems. i parry normal, sometimes it lags a little bit but its cuz my internet

conection from my school. but i play well everything i play some one. i havent play anybody from another country yet so i cant tell u

more.

Hi peeps, Just to let you all know, Capcom has fixed the black screen of

death on re-matching on Xbox Live. The patch went up at 0000 hrs last night. i played for about 2 hrs and succesfully re-matched (when

selected) everytime! BTW my gamer tag is below. Look forward to playing you guys sometime.

Remy at the moment though I think his move/combo repertoire is a little limited. Otherwise I'm kinda useful with Urien and the shotos.

Oh, BTW Nitewalker. I did mod my X Arcade in the end. Put in Happs

Competition joystick and buttons. Like night and day. The Happs stick is only circa $14 or so....

It is that much different isn't it? I may use my old x-arcade cases and

put new buttons and stuff in them.

I had no problems pulling any moves with the standard X arcade, but with

the Happs sticks it's even easier. Diagonals are more precise and generally things feel more slick. As I said, it's not an expensive

mod to undertake either - well worth it IMO :)

Figures...Just as capcom fised the bsod problem my xbox controller

3s already came out for PS2 and it does not feature online support. As far as I know, a

PC version is not coming out and it doesn't really seem like it will ever come out for PC.
