I think kuya is really new or something:D. kuya what you do is pick
P-groove and right when your opponent is about to hit you with a move be it a fireball kick punch whatever you tap forward and it
will parry. as far as cpu parrying in training mode you might of hade auto parry on to turn it off press start goto dummy options, and
turn parry off. I really hope this helps you
guys be nice ;) I bet you he looked something like this

Scroll down to [CvS2 Tactics Video]
"Rushing Down".
Upon completion of download, skip to 1:28.
It should be Ryu (N-Groove) vs Raiden (P-Groove).
As you will
plainly see, Raiden parries all 5 hits of Ryu's MAX Super Fireball.
As far as tips and tricks for parrying in CvS2 are concerned, I
have not heard of any.
You will just have to practice extensively to get the timing down.

Yes, it is possible, actually, you can parry "anything" in CvS2 if you time
it right. Just mashing buttons will not do, you need a precise and unique timing for every move. I myself have parried Ryu's L3
Hadoken, Ryo's L3 Super Hadoken, Ken's L3 Shoryuu Reppa, Chun Li's L3 (the kick one, don't know the name), you just need a lot of
practice, preferably when playing against some friends, the computer will not help, it's kind of unpredictable.

IIRC jchen cvs2
guide had some good info on parrying.
I have been capable of parrying almot every super in the game in training mode and
some lvl3 supers in battle (the easy ones, ryu's Shinkuu hadoken and joe's double tornado), and I can tell you it's all about rythm,
just remember that every hit must be parried individually and that parrying a hit will cause a short freeze that you should take into
account.

Videos:
These vids I have are from some guys I know real well. Probably the best where I'm from (Detroit) and
they're real tournament seasoned vets at this game . Anyway, one of the guys plays with Joe like I've never seen before. Since I too
play with Joe I try to mimic his strategies as much as possible. In order to watch these vids it'll require you to have a GameSpy ID
from www.fileplanet.com. Here's what to look for on the page:
